Blended training combines various types of training and information communication to achieve the most effective performance outcomes in the most efficient manner. ADI’s blended training solution components typically include a combination of the following:

  • E-Learning (Web-based training)
  • Instructor-led practical scenarios on a working drill rig (either at ADI’s training centres or within your drilling workplace)

Option 2: Recognition of prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is an assessment process that assesses an individual’s non-formal and informal learning to determine the extent to which that individual has achieved the required learning outcomes, competency outcomes, or standards for entry to, and/or partial or total completion of, a qualification.

You must be currently employed in, or have authorised access to an operational drilling team while undertaking the Recognition of prior Learning process.

Option 3: Gap Training

Unique situations may call for gap training to occur. Options for completing training can be discussed between the assessor and student. As part of the RPL assessment process, the assessor may determine training is required in one or more units to achieve the whole qualification.
