RIISAM215E - Carry out drilling industry operational maintenance

Australasian Drilling Institute is delivering a Nationally Recognised training program to enable you to gain formal qualifications through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

The RPL process recognises your existing experience gained through life or work for which you may not have obtained a formal qualification. We will work with you to identify your existing skills and assess if you can then achieve a full or partial qualification. This also helps to avoid unnecessary duplication of training, saving you time and money.

ADI believes that no learner should be required to undertake a unit of competency for which they are already able to demonstrate satisfactory achievement of the requirements stated in qualification.

Evidence Requirements

ADI aims to maximise the recognition of a learner’s prior skills and knowledge whilst at all times maintaining the integrity and standards of the defend learning outcome of the specific qualification.

Regardless of the type of evidence that you submit, Assessors make judgement that the sufficient evidence meets the following criteria:

  • Units of Competency requirement
  • Any Regulatory requirements i.e. Legislation
  • Is your own evidence and can be authenticated
  • That you can perform the tasks consistently
  • Is at the expected in industry as set out in the Australian Qualification Framework
  • Can demonstrate skills and knowledge applicable at Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Certificate II level https://www.aqf.edu.au/aqf-qualifications
